I would still make a bid, even if they are offline, just put it in within the next 5 minutes and technically you win
if the auction is about to end in a few minutes and the owner is offline, i believe it means that the auction has closed. if not, they don't automatically win -- the auction will probably be extended for a bit so the other bidders can react.
I don't know why most post dissapeared.. I had bid 10 mil, refreshed, and it was gone

Gah, I'm sorry guys, my clock must have been wrong. The official rule of the auction (my dodgy timekeeping notwithstanding... ) was that it ended at 8pm UTC, so you were free to bid until then. What a mess! Reiterei, I couldn't see your post before either, but it's showing up now. I've also been online for the past couple of hours, so I'm not sure why I've been showing up as offline.
