man I forgot how much of a pain trying to get this thing done is. I was planning to get it to 100% tonight since my main rule for this town is going to be no time traveling except when I'm plot resetting, which means I won't be able to get any of the pwp started tomorrow if I don't get it done tonight

but it's midnight

and i'm at 49% approval

and I'm working in the morning

I swear when I first started playing one of my first towns I got it to 100% in like one day. I don't know how, but I've never managed it since, so I could have been mistaken and somehow just thought it was one day

I usually manage to do it in one day but I had stuff to do in my other town too, so I wasn't as focused on it so i'm trying to i make myself understand that there's no chance of getting it done tonight so I really should just go to bed

If you haven't tried any of this already, talk to every villager a few times, plant and water a ton of flowers, plant more fruit trees, dig up all the fossils in town and donate or sell them and pick every weed in your town.

Some of the things you can do, are repeatable. Some, like changing town tune, are one time.

I've been at it for like 2 hours today and I'm only at 69% I hate how long this takes

Bonus tips - talk to the villagers as much as possible - it really seems to boost the rating

it took me ages, all of the repeatable tasks had lost any effect except from villager requests and instead of asking my for anything hey kept telling me how much of a freshman mayor I am like jeez peaches just tell to do something and then maybe I can get on with being a better mayor

i was stuck at 98% for ages until big top wanted to buy a carpet off me
