this question is harder to answer than i thought it’d be LMAO. i love the dog villagers but i think i gotta go with goldie for this one; her design is very simplistic but she’s honestly the sweetest and the fact that she’s a golden retriever makes me love her even more c’:
bUT some honourable mentions are lucky, cherry, daisy and benjamin; lucky is a more recent favourite as i haven’t always been that fond of him but he’s really grown on me! benjamin’s also a bit new to me, too; i just love how friendly he looks and how he sort of always looks a bit confused aha

Most people are saying Lucky, but nobody's mentioning his "alive" version?I think Walker's the cutest dog in the game

Cherry is my favorite dog at the moment because she's one of the starters on my island. Walker is also nice, he was in my New Leaf town for a while.

My favourite dog villager is Daisy. I found her on a mystery tour island and became instantly fond of her. She's so sweet and cute! Also, I love how her house reflects her personality so well. It's full of books and there's even a desk with some paper on it- all of this fits her book lover dialogue so well!
It's so hard to choose. I love all the bean dogs. My favourites are Butch, Bea, Bones, Biskit, and Benjamin all the B dogs. Also Mac

My favorite has been Bones since the Gamecube AC. Lucky has always been an extremely close second though (and I've had both of them in every single AC game, at least for a while). Honorable mention is Cherry, as she is by far my favorite Uchi villager.
She has the best exterior and interior of any villager, IMO.
