Most people are saying Lucky, but nobody's mentioning his "alive" version? I think Walker's the cutest dog in the game, it's a very simple design but considering the general shape of the dog villagers' head doesn't appeal to me at all, I think simple is the way to go. But I do also love Biskit, as I do all villagers who straddle the line between slightly weird but weirdly cute lmao

I am definite dog person in real life, I love dogs so much. (I like cats too, I just don’t understand them as well, but I’m not one of those people who think one is better than the other). But for some reason I just haven’t found a dog villager that has ‘clicked’ for me...and wolves, which I would think of as a good substitute, I don’t like at all. Hopefully, I will come across more dogs in My island hopping and eventually move one to my island at least for a little while.
I don’t dislike the general design, I just have my found a specific dog villager who stands out to me (except Shep, but it was a negative reaction, I don’t like him at all, no idea why)

Nice to see some appreciation for them here, to help me see if I might still be able to find a doggo friend in the AC world.

My favorite is Lucky! The fact that he's a mummy is interesting to me. I also like Cherry a lot; I think she's really cute, and she's my favorite sisterly villager~

Daisy (or Vanilla in Japanese!) is a super cute dog who kinda resembles Snoopy!! i love her ^^

Even tho my island is only cats the dogs that are adorable and cool would be Goldie and Lucky! Lucky has a spooky mummy theme and Goldie likes nature I love them both

i love walker! he's an absolute cutie of a pup. he was a random move in for me back during nl days but i've loved the boy since then! he's really cute whenever i catch him doing the zoomies around my island.

Unpopular opinion, but Marcel! He was a favorite of mine as a child! May not be the best looking, but he's super sweet!

I'm not super into the dogs as I'd rather have unusual animals on my island over basic pets. But Portia, Lucky, and Cookie are cute to me. Shep is kind of cute to actually.

I liked Cherry till I found out she has a random and horrible side mouth.

I haven’t had a dog villager yet, but I’d have to say based on their design, my favorite is lucky. I also think Goldie, Biskit, Bones and Daisy are cute . I probably could list more if I looked them up. I’m not a dog person but I think a good amount of the dog villagers are pretty cute.

I would say my favorite dog villager would have to be Butch! I just think he has a neat and unique design!

I have 3 Dog villagers in mind, first the obvious choice would be Luck because I like how unique he is, continuing on the uniqueness, I would have to say Cherry, and then Portia for nostalgia reasons.
