She may look like a skunk, but she's definitely a squirrel
I mean, she's a squirrel in that there's no "skunk" in the game. But her coloring makes it pretty clear she's supposed to be a skunk. Sort of like there's no unicorn in the game... but Julian's definitely one. And Julia is a peacock. And Tucker is a mammoth. And Bianca is a snow leopard. And so on... I like how Nintendo plays with colors to create new animal species to add to the game ☺

Deirdre might have been more popular in early NL because deer villagers were new, but Fauna definitely overshadowed her.
Claudia is definitely under appreciated. She's a BIG, HOT PINK, SNOOTY TIGER, DARLING. She knows exactly who she is, and she's fabulous. I love her. I want to be her when I grow up. I met her on a bamboo island and she's never leaving Kudzu.
Also Agnes is adorable. Who doesn't love a spunky little black pot belly pig? I like a lot of the uchis though, idk why they get a bad rap. I went out of my way to invite her in NH after having her in NL years ago.

I'm one of the Deirdre Fan Club too. I genuinely don't understand why she's not loved the same way Fauna is, her and Fauna are the cutest dear with natural and forest patterns/colors. But Deidre has a cooler personality and house.

Tasha is my absolute favourite villager so far.
She was so kind to everybody and was always happy to speak to me. I never saw her argue with any villager in the island. Once she bought Judy a dress and was too shy to deliver it so asked me to do it!
I have her photo so I let her go 2 days ago when she asked to leave but she will be coming back! I’ve ordered her amiibo and this way I can have her house restored as I gifted her items early in game before I knew she would put them out.
She is seriously amazing and I can’t see why more people don’t see it.

Deirdre : already talk about her here, she has beautiful eyes patterns, soft brown colors and the best autumn house of the game. Plus she's cute and badass at the same time being a Sisterly.
Cyd : cool and unique villager we have here, and yet he's the least talked about of the new NH villagers (with Megan). He's a punk elephant with a vibrant red color and unique shady eyes that are always making me laugh, plus he loves to sing all day.
Tiffany : hello, she's the ultimate baddie, she's beautiful and sultry, and her theme bar house goes really well with her. There's so much Snooty that people talk about and Tiffany is really slept on in my opinion.
Tabby : look at this smile, she's so weird and cute at the same time, nobody looks like her ! And I like that the combo of her design with being a Peppy villager.
Eugene : people loves Smug and yet, nobody ever talk about this king, it's always about Raymond, Marshal, Julian etc.
He has a fun design, he's cute and awkward, like your dad who loves old school rock'n'roll music lol

Tasha looks super cool and I had BonBon in my nl and she is cute :3 but Filbert stans need to rise up.
Cube and Freckles for me! They're pretty cute even despite some say they're weird or creepy in a way but fir me I love them. Freckles grew on me as she was my starter peppy and I'm kind of attached to her now. I had Cube since New Leaf and he's my favorite penguin out of all.
