Deleted user not gone?

So I made a second account and started my island. I set up the tent, and then deleted the account, but when I start the game it still loads my second user in the town hall. I can't seem to delete them, is this a bug or am I missing something?

You need to delete them by going to the settings mode when you start the game. You'll talk to Tom and you can select to delete the second character.
