Deidre refuses to move into the right spot T.T

I really hope someone can help me because this drives me crazy! I adopted Deidre yesterday and I've spent about 2 to 3 hours to move her into the right spot today. It should be possible for her to move there (her house would be one square away from the tracks and two squares away from the river in the south). But her house JUST WON'T SPAWN THERE! It always spawns in other spots around my town I even cleared that area of flowers and trees in hopes that this might increase my chance that her house is going to spawn there

I know that it's unlikely but is there anything else I can do to move her into this damn spot? I really want her house to be there I hope you can help me! >.<

Oh Korra, I feel your pain. I really do, I got Molly last night, she plain refused to go where I wanted, she was almost there in the last few goes but just on my paths or a few squares away,
You've just gotta be paitent with this haha. There is nothing you can do really to get her to move there, sorry I couldn't help much xD

To preserve my sanity, I've grown to hope for new villagers to end up in a spot which is 'not-horrible'.

I stop re-setting once they are somewhat close to where I'd like for them to be.

i spent 6-8 hours getting Elvis into the correct spot. It just takes time! Also, putting pwps where you don't want them to spawn helps alot. Don't give up.

I did that but I can't cover my whole land with PWP's And there seems to be like 4 or 5 spots that she always puts her house down (sometimes 2 to 3 resets in a row). Maybe these spots are fix?

I've mainly just looked for good spots I've seen villagers previously move on and reset till they're on one.

I did have Octavian try to move near the traintracks though so if the space is there...it may be possible.

I feel bad for you. 2 hours of resetting? When you're done you probably won't want to hear that word uttered, lol

I did the reset trick, the longest I took was an hour and a half. It's definitely tedious... v-v

Well, after 4 hours of resetting I gave in when Deidre moved in a spot that wasn't horrible (like all the other spots she usually chose). She's put her plot close to Beau's and Zell's house and didn't destory anything. It's a little sad that I couldn't move her into that one spot because it would have been perfect but whatever. She finally settled down ^.^

Glad you found an okay spot for her! But yeah, it can be incredibly frustrating to get them in a good spot. I think the longest time I've spent resetting is like an hour and a half, then I just gave in. Guess I'm not that dedicated, haha.

One especially frustrating moment was when I saw Merry's house plot being in the perfect place on the intro screen. I knew it'd change when I loaded my game, but ugh, it just made it worse having to settle for something less when I'd seen ther plot there!
