Decoration advice? Ideas, house tours, and showing off are welcome!

My main room is sweets themed, but it's all so... Bright, so me. I don't want to get rid of it, but I'm not sure what an alternative would be and as far as I know I can't modify it via Cyrus... Help?

I can post some pictures if anyone actually posts and is willing to help (I literally just discovered the DS image share...)

I paired my sweet series with birthday set. My room's light is turned off with only the birthday cake candles on. So the room has a pink glow to it. Oh I am talking about my 3rd character's room.

I have a sweets room in my mayor's house that I love...
I actually really hate the sweets floor so I made sure not to use it. XP

I think the lighting looks cool at night. Hmmm... For example: You are standing outside of your house and you see your windows glowing an eerie pink.

In my 2nd town I put 2 beds with a table in front of each bed. It's in the backroom.

In my 1st town it needs to be fixed and the birthday items would be perfect. I have 3 birthday items and was either going to make a birthday room in my other towns empty house or put them in the saved mail for safekeeping.

Okay, so the internet for my 3DS isn't working. But what I'm looking for, I suppose is something that could stand in for a sweet's table (I need two more) without being obnoxious, as well as a substitute wallpaper. Or anything that could fit into the sweets decor... Any ideas? :/

Also: for colour schemes, I like purples, blues, and greens... Eh x_x The real issue is that I want to keep some of my special DLC/event sweets themed items but have a more fairy-tale style room, one that feels livable as a bedroom/general apartment and fits well together.

Wow, the sweets/birthday room is fantastic.
I love the fairytale hooooouse.

I think what I might do is just discard the whole full-set-goal idea and build a room out of pieces I like. I'm looking at several pieces of the flower series, a lily pad table... Ect. I dunno. I want it to have a mystical feel to it, but the sweets set matches my exterior.

Oh, and I have a bunch of lucky cats. Any advice on how to set them up without it looking sloppy? I have them gathered around sweets tables...

Mystic feeling with the sweets series... how about Alice in Wonderland with Mad Hatter's Tea Party?
You can have a mannequin with top hat and shrunk's jacket on as the Mad Hatter. You can have the birthday cake and/or birthday candles on to give off a light pink mystic glow.
Carpet: Daisy Meadow
Wall: Star Wallpaper
Sweet Table x2 (put chocolate cake, cake, coffee cup, afternoon teaset, and others if possible), Sweet Player, Lovely Chairs, Sweet Chairs, Sakura Clock, Hydrangea bed (recolor pink if possible)... idk what else. You have to think of something to fill up the rest. You just have to make sure you stick to common color theme for furniture.

Now I think about wallpaper... it could be backyard lawn or something else with an outdoor feel to it.
Also the lucky cat, you can have the black lucky cat as Cheshire Cat.

Also, I think of Sheogorath's tea party in Skyrim. I can dress a mannequin up in the cat outfit... Can birthday candles be recoloured by Cyrus?

Your idea sounds much cooler! I like it!
I check on the birthday candles: you can't recolor it. However if you are going with Skyrim... I suggest Sunrise Lamp! If Sunrise Lamp is recolored it will turn into a Moon-rise Lamp and it should turn the whole room blue!

For most of the catalog-able items you don't have. Some trading forums allow you to catalog items for free (or for a small fee).
