I haven't been on my cycling thread in sometime, or cycling at all, but I was wondering if anyone restarts their cycling town and when do they do it. I feel like I should, but I don't really want to.
I have only restarted my cycling town once. That was because I had a lot of villagers that weren't too popular and I was too lazy to cycle them all out. Another factor is if your town has had a lot of tier 1, 2, 3 villagers in it, it might be nice to restart just to see if you'll get them again early on?
That's basically what made me reset o-ob and then my first creation, I got Lolly and Whitney! XD
I didn't. I actually build on my cycling town just like my main so I can get T&T emporium and go to whatever season I want if needed if you have bad villagers you can always crazy TT and they'll be out in no time
i don't have one but i want a second town so i can restart a bajillion times and sell bunch o marshals then ill just keep the cycling town as storage and tting
When I obtained a pre-owned cartridge, a few factors went into deciding if I was to reset.
They were:
1. Town Name
2. Layout and
3. Native Fruit
I found the layout confusing and annoying, wasn't a huge fan of the town's name, and the native fruit was the same as one of my other towns.
So, then it was a question of WHEN to reset, and I took a running tally of villagers I thought I could get new homes for, and ones that I thought would be voided anyway, even if I did allow them to leave. Something of a reverse dreamie list, though most of the villagers weren't so bad once I got to know them.
Once the tally reached 8/8, I reset before someone new could move in.
Not sure everybody does it this way, but it made sense to me at the time.
My new cycling town has a layout and fruit I am content with, and I came up with the name, so it'd be my fault if I don't like it.
