hey guys, I'm new to both animal crossing and the forums (though my gf is a long time member) and was wondering if someone could explain cycling? (general villager cycling, assuming none of your villagers are permanent and any can move at any time without care)

Do you just TT forward 1 day at a time while villagers come/go? I'm looking for a specific villager for my girlfriend and don't care if any of mine move out. Thanks in advance!

There's some really good links on the reddit here (for just time travelling out one of your villagers) and here (for kicking a villager out and getting a new one moved in). Hope they help, they're a little long but very concise. :D

I just started a cycling town with my sister and the easiest way for me is to time-travel 1 year, load up your game, then time-travel 5 days.

This is how I do it. It's extremely quick and easy.

yeah, if you have no interest in your town, 1 year is the easiest way.
wont go into detail since i think that ^above is the case, but villagers mostly move after ~4~5 days. TTing backwards counts as one day, also a nice bit of info
