I was wondering about how you give clothes to villagers to wear and how it works? (Because a certain someone is wearing a certain clothing item)

I think they are more likely to wear clothing that they like (each villager has style e.g. cool cute and colour preferences).

You can try this but I personally haven't used it as I like to gift villagers what I think they'll look nice in (because it doesn't always overlap with what they like the most). There's another thread discussing websites like this here
