I just realized I only have about two non-fruit, non-cedar trees. I'm thinking of replacing them so I'll have some cherry blossoms. Am I alone?

When I reset town all trees got chopped down, now I have a balance in between trees. Yes, it's so that I can enjoy the cherry blossom.

I have begun preparing for this also. I've actually been trying to increase my population of non-fruit trees for a while now, and I've been keeping the cherry blossoms in mind.

Here's a tip for anyone with a gold shovel: You can use 1,000 bell bags in place of tree saplings. o:

I've been buying the saplings for a little while now. I plan on chopping down some of my fruit trees to make room for these saplings. I had a nice section with non-fruit trees but then Sally moved in and took out all but 1 of them. I might just plant them around all 4 of my characters' houses and hopefully no one will move in and take them out. I don't plot reset. I can't wait 'till spring, I'm so over snow in-game and IRL.

I've read about this. Bell trees. The sad thing is, most of the time you won't be getting as much back as you've put into the tree. It's generally only used as decoration, as you've said, but in the end, I'd rather purchase a regular sappling for 80 bells instead of spend 1000 for a bell tree ^^;

The only problem with that is, if you plan on planting a large amount of normal tree's, waiting for saplings could take a long time, even if you TT. In this case, I would rather spend 1k per tree. :x

1k really isn't that much, anyone could easily make all the money back just by one island trip.

Oh, so that's how you get the pretty cherry blossoms? Just having regular trees? Oh boy! I'm glad I haven't started landscaping yet! Maybe I'll still buy some and plant them in specific spots to have ones that are less spread out, though :3

.
I am planning on landscaping a lot within the
next month & a half. I 'll be sure to include
an even mix of both fruit, cedar, and regular trees
throughout the town. I think the cherry blossoms are
really beautiful!

Usually in my towns, I forget to use all different
kinds of trees & end up with a village of entirely
fruit trees.

Can't wait for greens.

I recommended a while back to start planting happy saplings. The day they appear is so pretty. And further down the road there's a windy day with pink leaves floating everywhere.
