Cutest villager “couples”?

I have a university town and want an ?it? couple to add to it eventually.
I think it?ll be cute~ But I need some ideas!
I have a few obvious ones in mind like Beau + Diana or Fauna or a wolf ?couple? but would love to hear some different ideas from you guys!

Also I honestly just love thinking of certain villagers as bff?s, siblings or little friend cliques in general... does anyone else do that?
Chai + Tia are def sisters in my mind, and Bluebear + Tammy are the cutest little frenemies just to name a few!

the other day me & my friend were looking for poppy because she wanted to met her. literally all over my town...except for the museum
we checked every part & left the bug part for last which is were she was
with another squirrel
sheldon!
they were together in the butterfly part(i think thats the butterfly part i forgot) so it looked like they were on a date & it was so cute

so i guess if i were to pick a couple then it would be those two cuties! never thought i'd be saying this tbh.
made my heart melt since their both my favs

And I definitely do that too- I like to think of Melba+Canberra and Merry+Felicity as sisters, to name a few

I have two sets of couples in one of my towns.Nate and Tutu hang around together a lot even though they live in opposite sides of the town and Marshal and Filbert exchanged shirts several times and always attend each other's birthday parties.I nicknamed those squirrels "Marbert" since they're together most of the time.

Aww, this is adorable. Here's my headcanons about certain villagers.

Goldie and Daisy are sisters from the same litter of puppies! Goldie is the more outgoing one of the two and Daisy is more go with the flow. I think Daisy has a crush on Biskit who has a crush on her too, but they don't say anything. Goldie and Walker are an item and are pushing them together because they think they're cute!

Greta and Genji are the regal couple (although Genji is way sportier than her). But they do look super good with each other and are snooty about it.

Kyle and Whitney are the cool couple that look scary and untouchable, but are actually super friendly and supportive of everyone.

Rhonda and Gloria are cute goth girlfriends.

And Walt and Mathilda are the cranky old married couple that act as the parental figures of all these kooky kids in town. They fight a lot, but really love each other and all their adopted children.

I?ve never been huge on bunny villagers but O?hare and Carmen are too cute!
And I totally agree on those sisters! I actually think of Sydney and Yuka as straight up twins those girls are identical

Also I?m looking at a the koala villager wiki page and Eugene+Alice would be so adorable as like a ?bad boy? and ?good girl? couple omg it?s like they?re from the animal crossing version of Grease!

In my town, Mint and Hugh are a very odd couple but so cute together. I often find them walking together, visiting each other's houses, or talking about each other. It's like a first crush type of thing.

Bruce and Deirdre are also starting to build something of a relationship. Both of them are newer additions to my town, so they haven't been together long, but they chat sometimes and Deirdre has already picked up Bruce's catchphrase.

In the very early stages of my town, I had Nana and Coach in a sort of one-sided relationship. Nana clearly had a crush on Coach. She was always talking about him, asking me to send him gifts or wanting me to bring him to her house. Coach was completely oblivious to her affections, though. After they both moved out, I frequently saw them together on Main Street, so I liked to imagine that Nana finally got through to him.

I feel like Whitney and Fang are thought of as couples a lot but I love the idea of Whitney+Kyle and then Fang being like her protective/slightly older brother!

Yeah those two are super identical so even if they weren't canon everyone alwasy has them together it seems~
The only others that are equally identical at least off the top of my head are Sydney and Yuka who I also picture as sisters

Cece &Viche I always forget about! I've honestly never even used/seen them aside from in brief RV google searches but they are cuties!

Also Bluebear is literally my #1 all time and if her and kody aren't siblings then nothing in this world makes sense. I also love that they're actually opposite gendered so they are a little more distinct unlike the female siblings who's designs are nearly identical

My favorite couples are Marty and Maple, they are always hanging out on my island and they both start with M. I also ship Fauna and Erik because they always hang out together. My friend has an island with Poppy and Marshal on it and they look super cute together, plus they like to sing together too. And Judy and Stiches, they fight a lot but they always are on my island having picnics together!
