Customization in 3DS Games

I've noticed that in a couple 3DS games, customization is going to be the big feature. Animal Crossing 3DS, obviously, and Harvest Moon: A New Begining. The more 3DS games that are released, I've noticed the more games offer customization and have and claim to have a new begining, where the games are unique from the other games in that series. Anyone else notice this or know of any other 3DS games centered on customization or new beginings?

Personally I don't.

Customization was always a big facet of the AC games, why wouldn't it be in AC3DS? -.-

ANB is like AC3DS.

It's more the fact that new games all together are offering lots of customization options, even if it comes down to optional skins.

As long as it isn't priced DLC, customization is where all games should be heading.

The only true "new beginning" I see is Prof. Layton and the Miracle Mask. Wow, they switched 2D art to 3D animation. Plus 3D puzzles.

I know that you can customize your kart in MK7 and your Mii outfit in Mario Tennis Open.

Pretty much everything people have mentioned here already. I love games that allow me to use my Mii. My obsession, if you want to call it that, really took off with Pilotwings Resort. They just looked cool in the get ups in that game. Also love the customization in Mario Tennis Open, wearing hats and the like which is why I'm hoping we get that same level of customization for AC3DS (wearing hats and all).

Pokemon mystery dungeon: magnagate and the infinite labyrinth completely changed the games from entirely 2d and drawn, to freakin 3D! And i love it!

A game without customization isn't much of a game at all. At least that's how I see it.

Yeah, what Gallows and Sock said pretty much. Extensive customization has become a general trend in the industry lately and having it gives your a game a big boost to many people.
