I'm really enjoying the Switch 2!
I like to play in handheld mostly, but I've also been playing docked (particularly for Mario Kart World and Split Fiction). I haven't really noticed any differences between playing AC:NH on Switch vs Switch 2. I have nothing but good things to say about the resolution, refresh rate, and processing power overall! I was worried the console would be too large to enjoy handheld, but the screen size is great, and I'm enjoying it more than the Switch. The only bother I've had is that the mechanism for holding the Joy-Cons attached doesn't feel as sturdy as the way the Switch Joy-Cons slide and click in, though the Welcome Tour does a lot to reassure you that the connection is actually stronger. I'm really excited that the Switch 2 has more processing power and can accommodate more games as a result. It obviously can't compare to something like a PS5, but I'm excited to see what will be released for it in the future. I thought I'd continue to use both Switch and Switch 2 consoles, but after moving everything over to the Switch 2, it really does have everything I need given the backwards compatibility for most games.
The one sticking point definitely is the battery life! It was obvious from set-up that it drained power quite quickly. It's definitely a consideration for someone who might want it for a lot of traveling, commuting, etc., but because I'm happy to play in handheld with it also plugged in, it's not much of a bother for me. Having 2x USB-C ports is neat, because I like having it plugged into the top USB-C port.
