Curious, how often do you guys get meteor showers?

So far I have gotten them 0 times since release date. Are they super rear? Do I need to pray to the rng gods or something? I really want to experience a meteor shower for the first time on my own island before I visit someone else having one, but I'm getting a little impatient now.

I hear that Isabelle will announce it in the morning if there is one. I'm always just sitting there hoping that she will tell me that a meteor shower will happen but nothing. I've hardly even had clear skies to get 1 measly star. I saw one once, but I had a net in my hand, and I was too late.

I guess it's possible she doesn't always announce it. Hopefully, I'll get one soon.

Isabelle never mentioned any for me, but I've had 5, and 2 were on consecutive nights. I don't time travel. My island name has the word "comet" in it, and I go talk to Celeste on other islands a lot. I also scanned her amiibo once, though all she did was say she couldn't visit. I'm convinced that at least one of these things is influencing my odds.

Haven't had a meteor shower nor have I seen a shooting star yet. A few of my friends have been lucky with them and have made me kinda-sorta jealous with the amount of wishes they made in a night.

Thankfully star fragments have been donated to my shooting star...less island haha

I've had 0 and I've had the game since launch day, lol. I haven't missed TOO many nights.... but still can't say that one maybe went on when I did not play at night time.

I used to see a bunch of meteors. Then the spring event happened, and I stopped seeing them altogether during the time that the cherry blossoms were blowing in the wind. Honestly, it felt like I'd see them every single night prior to that.

I had one. Does anyone know if it syncs to your part of the world on meteor shower cycles? I noticed the moon cycles match in the game.

Played since launch (actually the 19th cuz virus)
Don't TT, so lots of time on same day/night.
Play a lot at night.
Celeste visit twice, both on overcast nights.
First shooting star was 3 nights ago at 11pm. It was a group of 4 of them. No more appeared.

I had one during the spring events. “Shower” is a word I use loosely. I got clusters of 2 or 3 then nothing for a while. Luckily I was balloon farming so I was able to catch a good amount.

I've never had a single one lol. My friends have already had multiple. My island is quite unlucky for special things like that, even visitors lol. CJ and Flick hardly ever come, neither does Celeste. And I've played every single day/night.

Only once but there were other days when my villagers had the dialogue indicating there would be one that night. I don't usually play much at night or TT so sadly I think there are tons I've missed

I've had 1 since the game's release and that was like the first week. I don't TT and haven't had any since. Haven't had Gulliver in a while either.
