Creatures that appear harmless

Spiders in Animal Crossing are harmless right? But in real life, they aren't if you mess with them. I understand that scorpions and tarantulas are harmful to player when they are near the vicinity.

Have you ever thought of any insects, fish, or deep sea creatures that appear harmless in the game should appear harmful? I think it is just me because this game is rated E.

I caught a piranha while I was fishing randomly today. I kept hitting the B button to throw it back in the river. So, yeah, I'd say those seem like they should be harmful. Also I agree with the shark thing.

Well bees and jellyfish can sting you in game...

But the crabs in game don't pinch. Irl crabs freak me out a little.

Yes but villagers aren't normal animals. They're like the Ninja Turtles and the bugs and fish are regular, non-mutated animals. So I don't villagers should count as dangerous, regardless of species.

Well, obviously, but we're talking about the game here. It hardly seems fair to hold villagers to the same standards as any of the animals we're able to capture and keep as pets in-game was my point.

I agree. Though, it wouldn't be as peaceful as it is if the creators of Animal Crossing did make most of these creatures (excluding the villagers) dangerous.

Congrats! I still haven't caught the tarantula, that goes at the end of this month and won't return until the end of June.

I always thought it was funny how jellyfish can sting you, if a scorpion or tarantula bites your mayor you get sent back home but if you swim near a shark all it does is swim away xD.

If you want to get technical,a lot of sharks are non aggressive.
Unless you actually bleed in AC I think you'll be ok.
I saw my first scorpion last night after playing NF for less than a day. I have played CF and WW for years and have never seen a scorpion or tarantula!
