🍃🌿🍂🌻🌸🌷
I just visited your town and it's cute and quaint! I think you'll definitely want to keep your dream address during cherry blossom season as I find your paths would almost completely disappear with the trees turning green and bushes. Which I super love your paths, by the way. They're so cute! I agree that maybe some more landscaping around PWPs would be nice. More PWPs closer together I think would look nicer and make it feel less incomplete. Maybe separate design paths or something. There's also a lot of open spaces that I think could benefit from adding a few PWPs to your town and/or additional landscaping.
Your house is really pretty and I enjoy the color schemes in the rooms. I really like your town so far!
There were only a handful of things that I "didn't enjoy"/missed:
1. The tire toy in the alcove of trees. I think you could find a better bench/pwp to go there. I like that the colors are matching with all the fruit trees, but I don't know, it just wasn't my thing. If you love it, keep it! This is your town not mine.
2. I know you have no control over this now, but I wasn't a fan of the metal police station. I think the wooden one would have looked better. Just food for thought if you ever make a new town. But again, this is my preference, not yours. I'm really not a fan of the metal police station in general. That's just me.
3. I'm guessing your colors are meant to be purple & white from all the purple and white flowers everywhere. I think you can add pink flowers since your trees are pink. I think adding pink and white lilies and some of the other pink, white, and purple flowers in some places might make your town feel a little more tired together. I like the flowers you have now, but the repetition of roses and carnations (and some pansies), especially of the same colors, I got a little bored of the flowers. But I really enjoy most of the flowers in game, so that's just my take on it. If you like the repetition and color scheme, stick with it!
These are just things that I know I'd do with my town, so the suggestions/opinions I'm giving are all entirely subjective.
I think you should give it a good attempt at trying to get the creativity back for a few weeks. If nothing comes to you, then maybe it's time to move on. That's not a bad thing and maybe you'll pick it up in a few months down the line bursting with ideas from the time you spent away, or maybe you'll feel better knowing you gave it your all and can put it to rest. This isn't an assignment for school or work. Playing should be FUN for you. If it's causing you stress, it's not benefiting you in any way, anymore. It's okay to put it down, finished or unfinished, for a week, a month, or even forever. Do what makes you ultimately happy! That's far more important than finishing your ACNL town.
