I've been trying to set-up a little arcade near my beach and realised I could use simple panels for the back wall, but when you flip them 90 degrees they don't line up well - so that there's either a bit of grass showing or you can see the floor on the other side.

I imagine expert Animal Crossers are well aware of this limitation but is there any kind of workaround for it?

I essentially want to create a new building and while there'd be no roof or door this almost works and it's a bit frustrating I can't get it looking perfect.

well nothing is perfect keep in mind.
overall that's adorable! but if u wanted it to line up a bit better than u could put like a tree or potted plant to cover up the gap?
that or create another island resident and use their house for your arcade ;p

hope it works out for ya! :) very cute overall tho <3

Some people use things like cliffs with panels against them. Others then the rock climbing wall backwards and use those. I dunno if they'd be any better but perhaps worth a shot?

I just use the brick fences for open outside areas. I like that they're open and incomplete. The same magic that fuels instant wand changes and talking cognizant animals can fuel the magic that these outside "rooms" can survive rain and snow and no ceiling/full walls. I personally think the high "walls" of the panels looks way more off to me than a half-wall fence wall

Thanks for all your comments, it's very helpful.

I like the look of the panels with the 90s designs on them, especially as an arcade would have to be at least somewhat enclosed for you to see the screen properly.

I might try the rope fences on the side though, that seems like a good compromise.

Although are there any half-size panels, or similar, that can also be customised with your own images? As far as I know the simple panels are the only thing like that. (There's no 'complex panels', right?)
