People hunting for shiny Raymond will be the true apocalypse. If we thought Raymond is an issue, can you imagine? LOL
That was my first thought too!Haha, before I clicked on this, the first thing I was going to say was "Like shiny Pokemons"? If we thought Raymond is an issue, can you imagine? LOL
The more I think about it, the more hyped I get...super ready with my popcorn bucket to see the world explode with hunting actual rare villagers since it's an RNG on top of an RNG, lol. That was my first thought too!
The ULTIMATE shiny...!
How strange that would be!
I already feel overwhelmed by how many villagers there are tho, so if there were variants of those I'd be even more overwhelmed ahhh.
Or if villagers didn't have predetermined personality types? Like what if they villager rolled the personality type when they were generated? So you could have a jock Sherb or a lazy Raymond. All just depends on how they were "born". That would cause some serious chaos. XD
Oooo I love that idea, actually!
It really would be chaos though, haha.
It would totally re-write the market system.
People will kill for shiny raymond while I would be hunting for shiny lemon tangyI think it would be pretty great, though I would be against it due to it possibly taking away from the character design. In Pokemon shinies make sense because most Pokemon are not the only one of their species. With Animal Crossing I don't think it would it.
Shiny fish/bugs would be fine though.

I know I know.. I'm just sad because now i want a lemon tangyBut the thing is, in this game there is only one Raymond, this isn't Pokemon. Plus we have plenty of animals that don't match their natural colors which makes them unique in their own way.
