Phoenix Wright series is like a book, if you don't mind the read. excellent stories, though.
pokemon is a must have, if you like it.
kirby super star ultra is great if you like kirby/platformers
meteos and tetris ds are awesome, if you can find them. might be expensive used, though. the new mario rpg (mario and luigi, bowser's inside story)
and, i dunno what else, currently. what kind of game are you looking to play? genre-wise
