Honestly, I think that the DS might be a bit too hard to emulate on the Switch systems especially when in handheld and tabletop mode and even docked. You really need a touchscreen and the use of a smartphone isn’t the answer be a finger isn’t as precise as a stylus and it’d be really hard to play some of the more frantic games that use the touch pad. There is also the issue of Phantom Hourglass and a couple other games where you had to close the DS to solves some puzzles.
