It's kind of hard because I don't think that most people set out to make their town have a certain theme, they just add the PWPs and stuff that they like. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I did. Do you want us to just round up to the closest category?

Yeah, pretty much. It's fine if you don't have a certain theme, misc is totally open. But putting something like "Fairy tale zen style mixed with medieval horror etc..." is kinda confusing.

It's all up to you! Your entire town doesn't have to follow a strict theme, just keep in mind that it should relate to it. Your house may not even be judged by the poll-takers, so spaceship would be fine.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to update it by the time the contest starts, but all the gardens/PWP and stuff is the same. ~ If I get past round 1 I should be able to update by then.
Only change is a villager has moved, grass has grown more and I've planted some more bushes, and maybe an item or 2 has moved in houses. (Are interiors judged?)

It's less about the specifics and more about the overall feel of your town. Since houses are a part of your town, they may be judged, but that is really up to the poll-takers. For instance, you could post when your poll comes up what houses people should pay attention to if your going for a certain theme.

Awesome, in that case if I don't manage to have internet sorted by the judging period I'll make sure to post something about the oddbits. Hopefully this won't be an issue though.

We seem to be in a sort of rut.

UPDATE: If we aren't getting enough submissions I'll either have to:

a) Prolong the start date OR
b) Move some towns to other categories to even the playing field. For those of you in Misc, this is helpful as you have a better chance.

Also, refrain from entering misc towns. we have an excess number and you'll have less of a chance to win anyhow.
