ok i forgot about this for a while but hello
also im not on the participants list..?? do you get kicked off if you dont keep up?
so my notes on reading the thread and going to the town
-in the house in the far left, the back room has changed. the beds are updated, theres a piano, and now there are violent screens. the iv is still there though.
-i dont remember what the top room looked like, but it looks more nicer now i think? it looks like a star pattern to me. maybe something to do about dreams or wishes?
-basement is cleaner
-idk if the new house below means anything tbh(assuming its going to be updated. since its name is mirage i assume it has to do something to do with the mayor's or town's visions of a perfect town)
-the bridges are updated

I think the mayor pissed someone off by trying too hard. They put stress on the town (even though the villagers loved them) and made someone snap. They were obsessed with "dreamies" and having a pretty town. The bridges changed, but the path still remains black. I would think that the mayor would change to a more.. elaborate path I guess? But maybe the bridges mean that it's a fairy tale, and that the world the Mayor wished for (hence the star patterns in the other house) won't come true. But fairy tales don't have bad endings, or do they? Maybe the town was fairly successful, but someone envied the mayor's happiness. There's a lot of clovers on the beach but I don't really know what they mean tbh.
Kapp'n: I think he lures tourists from other islands tbh. Remember the islanders from the old AC games? I think he might take them to this town as a vacation, only to kill them. I don't see why he would kill the mayor though. Personally, I feel like the mayor tried too hard to make their town perfect. But I don't see how this would piss off Kapp'n.
Cyrus:Sleeps on the job a lot. If the mayor was strict, maybe they would've gotten stern with Cyrus. I guess the mayor was fairly rich if their town was successful, so maybe Cyrus was greedy and envied their wealth. But I don't see how this would upset him if the mayor wasn't rich
Copper: There's a book in front of the station that I feel like is important. Not to mention all the axes lmao..And all the pitfalls leading to the station. They're hiding something. But I feel like this is too obvious. I don't think Copper killed the mayor, but cops are usually scumbags so I do think they're corrupted in some way, but not the culprit.
Brewster: He's always quiet. He's always in the background. He's worked so hard in the cafe, but for what? There are black roses surrounding the cafe and you know..black isn't a very nice color. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I think there's a reason why the roses are black instead of blue or red. Black is a color of hatred (in my eyes anyway) so.. It's not a passionate color, I suppose.
