Community Project?

So, I've been thinking: Wouldn't it be great if the members of TBT would work together to form a perfect dream town? Like, if someone volunteered their game so that others could come over and decorate it together? Of course, the owner would put down paths and decorate houses, but others could help with the layout of said paths and houses. Wouldn't it be awesome to work together on such a huge project? I would love to volunteer my game, as I have lost some interest in it, and I would love to renew it with some teamwork!
What do ya'll think? We would have to plan a theme, pick villagers and a map, and all that junk.
Give me some feedback! I would love to form a town with all you lovely people. :3

It'd kinda be like the sisterhood of the traveling pants aha, where they all share a pair of pants over the summer - or something like that. (ofc they wash them though) After reading this, I suddenly had the idea that you could even mail the game to other users on the forum haha, so they could control the town as well such as houses and villagers PWPs and paths until it moves onto the next person and then you get to see what their vision for the town was. Then repeat the process and hand it to the next person. (if you had an extra copy this would work better) It'd be so cool. But honestly I think this is such a creative idea, I give you mad props for this. I'd love to be apart of it if it does happen. Sounds like such a cute little project and it could really bring the community together.

No one would agree on what looks good. And to be honest, although I enjoy checking out a dream once in a while, I really only care about how my own town looks. It sounds like you just want feedback. Go ahead and fix your town up the way you want (which is what you'd be doing anyway) and then ask people to critique it.

@SailorCrossing Thanks a lot! The mailing thing is a great idea, but I'm afraid that the cartridge might be stolen, lost, etc. But I like your enthusiasm!

Yeah, mailing around a cartridge isn't a good idea. I guess you could let people vote on the town name, layout, mayor's name, villagers, etc. You could let a bunch a people come to your town each with a pocket full of fruit, saplings, bushes, and flowers to plant wherever they want. People could submit house designs to vote on.

You could make a series on YouTube. At the end of each video, ask people to vote on things they want and then do them in the next video. That's the only way I can see your idea working.

I think this idea would work nicely too tbh. It would be a good way to differentiate yourself from other other lets plays too.

Hm... That would be fun to do a youtube thing...
Of course, I'm not going to waste money on a capture card, but I have a few cameras I have experiment with. And my mic doesn't have too bad of a quality...
But maybe that would be too difficult. Maybe it would be easier just to do it here, where I can put up polls, and have people visit.
Or, maybe I could have visitors from TBT, have "guest stars" in the episodes...

If you don't do YouTube, you can always try being a day by day blogger on this site. I tried doing that once but it didn't work out, so I kinda stopped. But it might be easier for you!

Yeah, I probably won't be able to do a youtube thing. But a blogging thing, I can definitely do!
I won't be able to do day-by-day, but maybe an every other day kind of thing. I'll take lots of pics as well!
