College Majors?

I just graduated from JWU in February. I went for marketing, but I honestly hated it. I only did it because my mother refused to help me pay for college if I didn't go for business, and I needed her support. And now I have to get a job in the field I hate, because it's all I'm qualified for.

I plan on majoring in accounting/auditing, and possibly minoring in information technology. I'll probably change my minor later on though.

right now i'm set on being an enviromental scientist, while also having photography as my minor.

I will be graduating from high school on 6/3/2016. Most likely, I will be attending Delmar and take the floral design course. I have been wanting to be a florist since Fall 2014 (beginning of my junior year). Although, I would love to go to a technical school for floristry. We just need to find on near where I live. I've actually been taking floral design this year and I love it! TBH, I'm not the type that likes to sit in a classroom and just learn all school day, but floral design is has really been interesting to me so far and I have learned a lot just by taking the "normal' high school course. The only thing that disappoints me is that I can't take the TSFA (Texas State Florists' Association) because I have to take the advanced course, which I didn't even know about until after I thought about being a florist.

I'm really eager to take it in college in a few months (if all goes well I should get into college this coming August). Even if it's only for six weeks at Delmar, it's better than nothing, and it will give me a boost on my "experience record", which is important for pursuing an actual career. In the book we use for the class it even says that it's a good idea to take a floral design course at high school/college.

I keep going back and forth on whether or not I should open my own flower shop. My mom keeps reminding that it is a lot of work, but I don't think just working for someone else is going to get me anywhere, if I do it forever. I much rather have that than nothing, but this is really the first time a career has meant so much to me. I've wanted (and still do actually) to be a lot of things, but this is the ONE career path that I've been thoroughly thinking about. I truly want to do as much as I can as a florist! <3

They say that our dreams begin to grow smaller as we get older, but I think it should be the another way around as it has been with me. As we get older and get closer to adulthood, your dreams, passions, and desires should absolutely grow! If they shrink over time instead, it is going to be tougher to survive in the real world. The bigger goals you have for the future, the better chance you have succeeding in life (if you work to meet those goals). If you allow your dreams and goals to fade away over time, you will never get a chance to experience true success. Goals allow us to make friends, build a family, find our perfect career, and succeed at life in general. If we don't have these dreams and goals, we will never experience true success.

My first degree major from the US was Biological Sciences.
My second and Australian degree major is Zoology with a minor in Microbiology.

What can I say, I love science :p

Edit;
Also when I've completed that, applying for the masters/doctorate program in veterinary science so everyone will have to call me Dr. Minties and I can help the animals.

Biology major right here yo.
Minors aren't a thing in our school but with the way our required subjects are arranged, we have a lot of Chemistry classes, we can technically be considered minors in Chemistry. o:

I'm college aged. I'm not in college, but I plan to one day study psychology.

Filmmaking & Screenwriting.

I've my BA already and was due to finish Honours this semester but I'm having to take some time away from uni due to health issues. Not sure yet if I'm going to go back next semester or if I'm just going to settle for an ordinary degree.

Genetics; my classes are focusing on Developmental Biology + Embryology at the moment but likely to change in future because it's so stressful, but very interesting.
