Cole is freaking me out

I went up to my new friend today (he spent all day unpacking, so today was the first day I got to talk to him) and he said a new piece of dialogue that I hadn't heard from either Zucker or Hornsby! (My two lazies before Cole)
"It's so nice out today! I wonder if Mr. Sun is smiling?"
Right then I decided that he's my favorite lazy. Until...
"I'm not allowed to look at the sun... anymore."
"Not since 'The Incident'."
The cute moment was ruined? Even creepier, the sun went away mere minutes after he said this, and now it looks like it's about to rain. What otherworldly powers does this rabbit possess?!

Oy, you have to watch your back with lazies. I had Deli as my base lazy on Arctin (Took too long to find one on my own), and he was cool. Up until he gave me a gravestone as a best friend’s gift.

The lazies are usually chill/ wanting food but they'll sometimes say real disturbing things. Some things I can think of is the dialog when you haven't talked to them in a while. They'll say they stood in front of your house all day waiting for you or how they reverse snacked from eating too much. There's also when they talk about cars and exploding and how they're not allowed to drive anymore.

I think that dialogue is super cute! It sounds less like a threat than like he stared at the sun to much? But I’d also think it was cute if he had crazy accidental weather powers. What a great little weirdo! Cole is priceless!

I found Rodeo off of a Nook Mile island and randomly got him cause why not, I wasn't sure if I wanted to make my town magical themed yet.

One day he gave me a skull radio. Not the nice colourful one, no, one that looks like a real skull. Another day he gave me a Western style stone as a gift. I didn't know why it was called that, for some reason I thought it was going to be a fancy rock (I like rocks in this game). So when I put it out on the beach, TA-DA it's a literal gravestone. But wait, there's more! One day he's crafting and gives me a recipe for the Eastern style stone. Ofcourse after he gave me the Western one I already knew what it was but I had to check. Yup, it's a Japanese style gravestone.

That’s how deli got me. I thought that the western-style stone would be some cool stone. It was a stinkin grave. I gave it to my bro instead (who creepily got Deli from the void after Diana evicted him).

Lazies say the darndest things. They can range from cute to creepy and a mixture of both. This is why I adore them so.
Both Lucky and Moe kept talking about night clowns when I invited them.
Sherb brought up a clown that had come into his house for a birthday, went into the walls, and then never came back out.
Sherb, I'm pretty sure, talked with his dead grandma one of the times he accidentally fell asleep outside. (He said, "HI, Grandma, I thought you were..." and woke up before he finished, but it seemed like he was going to say dead if he had finished that sentence. :x)

You never know. (One of my designs from HHD; Cole in Dragon Age: Asunder has done some things).

All jokes aside, I really do think Cole is adorable . I would love to have him on my island as a permanent resident (bonus to the fact there was a character in DAI with the same name).

I love how delightfully creepy the lazies can be in this game. Like, they talk to bugs in their floors... which is not at all alarming (the bugs even warn them of who's coming?) and then, check the "wall clowns" in my siggy. And when I invited Rex he asked Cleo to move out and he said something like, "Guess what? She said yes! Apparently, she was already thinking of moving due to the night clowns! ...I decided not to ask." and I'm like... you should've asked, Rex. Because I NEED TO KNOW.
