Does anyone else think that the coffee game is ridiculously hard? I understand that the idea is probably that you build stronger relationships with villagers and NPCs by remembering their coffee orders over time, but sometimes, they will just order a vague "coffee" without having ever hinted at what their order is. Gracie just came into the Roost for the first time today, and didn't specify anything about her order at all...

For the villagers, their milk and sugar orders are equivalent. Some of the special characters have that too but not all of them. I always used a guide because I can never remember orders.
Lol I don't bother memorizing my villagers preferred coffee.whenevr I wanna play the cage minivans I just go to the animal crossing wiki and search the villager and their coffee preferences will always be included in their profile. Memorizing their preferences is too hard.

In the beginning I found it hard. Found that checking the Roost each day I played helped. Sometimes a villager or NPC sitting and will give information about their coffee, milk or sugar.
If you have an extra player living in your town send them in so you can get more information.
They'll get lots of information that can help you piece things together.
Noticed you have extra towns. I have 3 bear cubs living in my towns and they all have the same order. I use my list to help figure out random villagers. If they ask for Mocha with 3 sugars I look at my list to see what other villager have the same. Add their amount of milk and I usually get it right.

I never forget Isabelle's order. But I have to agree, it's exceptionally difficult to do the tasks considering with the special characters we know nothing. But i think it's lovely when they really bond with the animals through the coffee and stuff. And its rewarding, but I personally don't memorize it

I don't even bother remembering their coffee preferences. I've always used a guide for it. I'd be completely lost without it honestly. I do wish multiple villagers and NPCs came in at the same time when you're not doing the coffee game. The Roost looks too empty most of the time.
Yeah, the coffee game seems like it was made only for extreme players. Anytime I play it, I just google a list of villagers and characters and their favorite orders so I get it right each time, since I don't see having time to memorize hundreds of orders.

same here. who the hell got time to actually memorize what coffee a villager wants and how much sugar and milk they want. i dont really work at the cafe anymore bcoz i got the full brewster set so theres no reason but when i was working there, google was my best friend whenever a villager orders lol
