So I guess my question would be, "Why, in animes, do the protagonists usually have to die? Is that seriously the only way to end a series?" If you get attached to a certain person
(fan-wise of course) it can be a little depressing.

Just think if they lived and they stopped the show. How would you feel then?

I like how they die, it gets me emotional and I like that.

...What?! are you talking about?
You just revealed the ending. xP
Funny thing is...if you even read the description under the topic title, you would've stayed away from it. Why do you think only 40 people viewed this? Don't be stupid, read the description next time. ^_^

well, with DeathNote and Code Geass. Killing people for a better world, and becoming the enemy of the world, they both had it coming

Yes but Light=insane and/or evil while Lelouch=good. ;)
Lelouch chose his death to help out the world, while Light wanted to be God.

well after Lelouch died it was clear of what he really wanted.

I love code geass, I was kinda sad Lelouch died but he wanted his sister to live in a peaceful world. So I'm okay with it.
