Club Tortimer Experiences

I only go to CT to quickly look for items and then leave, I am such a scaredy cat.

I went to CT a few hours ago and met this girl who kept asking me for my friend code. I lied and said I didn't remember since I don't like adding people immediately after meeting them (in order for me to add someone on CT, I have to get to know them, talk to them, go on tours, etc. so that way I can decide if I'm comfortable adding them or not.) Also, I try not to add people on CT since I usually end up regretting it. Later, she asked me if I'm rich then offered me bells which I declined. After that she kept scaring away all the bugs I was trying to catch and caught some of the fish I was trying to get. I got so annoyed that I ended up disconnecting and decided to spend my time visiting dream towns instead.

I like to do that too, wait to get to know them.
Usually someone asks for my FC the minute I get on the island and I decline.
Once a girl asked me and another person, they made up a fake one, I said 6666-6666-6666 as a joke, she said 'error' and selfishly errored. The second person even had 'No asking for FCs' on their TPC.

I have really weird anxiety about running into people and having them try to talk to me. But, there's island exclusive items that I like! :0 So the only time I island hop is between 3 and 6 AM and it's NEVER on international islands. I figure that this way, since it's people who live where I do and have the same time zone as myself, it'll be unlikely for anyone to be there. It's been pretty successful!

My only story is that, a couple weeks ago I visited an island and they didn't have any items I want. I always check to see if there's anybody there. If there is, I leave through Leilani, and if there isn't, I disconnect. Well, I clicked the button to see if anybody was there and it said no, so I went to flick the wifi switch. Literally just as I had started to flick it, it said "somebody is arriving to the island!" .. I felt really mean. But it was an accident.

i met one of my best friends on club tortimer, we hung out for a whole year and she introduced me to her friends but then we had a ***** fight about something dumb (i forget) and we havent talked since. i think her name was evee.

I've never been big on CT, because of all the trolls and beggars. I think I've only visited ONCE. And these stories are making me glad I made that choice, lol.
