Club Tortimer Experiences

I don't get onto club tortimer because a lot of people beg for bells and I don't like trolls that much.

There are a lot of nice times, but yeah, there's a lot of begging.
Sometimes I even give them some bags of 99,000 and disconnect. >
I feel evil, but sometimes they beg WITH THE FREAKING BELL BADGE.

Last night while my guest town was island hopping I ran into horrible trolls and some very nice players.
I was on the hunt for cabana items for my new bathroom. It started out with the wifi switch getting hit after I bought items.
Kept running into the same crew of players. Switched to international and the US player was very nice.

Went back to NA and one player was there while I bought two armchair. Another arrived and we went on tours. Problem was the first person took all the items from the scavenger hunt house and wouldn't give them to us. Than he followed me around while we did the diving tour. The girl player caught a lot and I came in 2nd. Tried to leave and he kept opening his inventory or the box.
It didn't stop so we blocked him and than someone hit the wifi switch.

The last island I found the cabana table and two nice players. I think one did something to the game. The player was able to hop over the desk and stand behind it. Show the gold net and other items that don't belong on the island. They were nice I was able to leave the island with my tables. Sent my other player out and she found the chair to complete the collection for the mayor bathroom and the side player dressing room.

I've meet some very nice players on CT. I still remember the Japan player that gave me a sandcastle as a gift. It was the last item I needed to finish my collection. After that I started buying items for other players since I didn't need the medals anymore.

Players on CT taught me the stump glitch and how to get on the side of the hut and jump into the water without a wetsuit. They were patient while we tried to figure it out. Others helped one of my extra players wins a boat load of medals during the winter. She got the gold medal badge thanks to all the bonus medals.

There have been a few times I almost couldn't get off the island, but that's pretty much it for me. Though, there was one time I was talking to someone in German through the help of Google Translate.

One time this girl asked me for bells while I was island hopoing. I told her no and she kept opening her menu to try and trap me there. Then I went on a calm rant about how you don't just do that kind of crap to people. Players don't owe you handouts (especially if you're a total stranger) and if you're too lazy to earn it yourself then that's your own problem. I told her that not only was I not gonna give her money, she didn't deserve it for being so rude and inconsiderate (seriously, she's lucky I didn't find something cool). Then she did the sigh emoji, then the crying one, called me a jerk, and let me leave.

Another time, a guy trapped me on the island and said he wasn't gonna let me leave until I gave him a billion bells lmao (I don't even have 100M yet). I found it hilarious because my box was totally empty, and he was JUST fishing and caught a lot of stuff. I was like "K, bye then" and I errored. I don't like doing that, but don't try to get over on me thinking you'll get away with it. Have fun looking for all those fish again.

Usually I have great experiences on CT. Something I really enjoy is to take advantage of the multiple languages I know :3

My first language is French, I know English pretty well and I can have basic conversations in both Spanish and German.

So the other day, I went on an island and found a French girl and a German girl... I was able to speak to both of them of course. xD I really like this feature for this specific reason.

One time while I was at CT there were 3 other people there before me. 1 guy and 2 girls. The guy was AFK and one of the girls was chatting to the other one who was dressed oddly. The oddly dressed girl was beetle hunting (same reason I was there). So I beetle hunted with her and we stayed on seperate pathes most of the time. Then she started following me and getting in my way every time I tried to catch a beetle or a shark. So I finally said, "Can you not do that?" This girl stood there and was like, "Do what?" I started to beetle hunt a bit more before saying, "Disturbing the beetles, its not nice." She continued to do it before we got in a full blown argument. I then just started a island minigame and left.

Just got trolled... A random guy arrived and said "Wanna do some tours bro?", I said "Sure I'm bored anyway". I chose a tour and when I sat on the chair... He left his chair. You can guess what happened next.

This is sooo useless man.

People do that bs when they want the island to themselves. If they wanna be alone so bad they need to just go to their own, honestly.

I have a rather interesting experience. I decided to stand there on the island looking at the water and not move. A girl showed up, we said hi to each other, and she stood next to me facing the water as well. Both of us stood there for so long without saying anything. She might have been AFK most of the time but I did see her move a bit once. People kept coming and going and were so confused as to why we were standing there not doing anything. After close to two hours, she finally moved. I noticed when I went back in the building someone picked up all the bananas and left two baskets of them right behind us. We talked a bit, did a few tours then she left.

It was funny seeing confused people's reactions to us standing there. I was surprised she stood there with me for so long though lol

Went to the island just now and had a fun experience. As soon as I arrived, the person started asking me for bells. After a little while of begging she said she will hack me if I didn't give her bells. I was like "No you won't, you're like 9 lol" and she said she was 23. She pretended like she was hacking me then called me the 9 year old. She also said she is recording this and will put it on youtube and I said "You're going to put yourself being an idiot on youtube?" I asked her what the channel name is and she gave me a name that didn't exist. Then she said this was just a prank and that she has 20 million bells already, yet she was still trying to get me to give her bells. At this point, a 3rd person arrived on the island. The person then gave a different name for their channel which probably also doesn't exist, I didn't bother to check. The 3rd guy came up to me and asked if I was going to rob him because I was wearing a ski mask (Oh, the irony). The first person started asking him for bells and they went outside. I didn't bother following them but it sounded like he actually gave her bells. He said he had to leave after that but she asked him for more bells. Around this time, a 4th person was about to show up but it errored before they arrived.

I'm using side characters to go on islands, at first it was because I could fill their baskets with rare items, and also because I was tired of beggars. One thing I didn't expect though was girls* (at least female characters) asking me if I was single and trying to seduce me. My character is not even sexy, he looks like middle-aged man, even my female characters don't get that kind of attention, ok maybe one pervert comment once in a while but I've never been asked if I were single, however, I get that all the time with the male character, every day a girl is asking me if i'm single... If I say yes, they stick like glue, if I say no, they say they are sorry and ignore me or just turn off the the wi-fi. O.O
