Club Tortimer Experiences

I'm bored, how about sharing some experiences in Club Tortimer? Whether you got trolled, or got a million bells, you can tell anything that happened. Here's a starter:

One time, I met this girl when I was out bug hunting. I was on my new copy on my new 3DS since i lost mine. I was cutting down the trees because I was bored. The only trees I didn't cut down were the palm trees obviously. And then chaos:

Girl: Hey noob why are you hurting the trees? (I started a month ago)
Me: Because? I got here before you anyways...
Girl: DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW TO PLAY THIS GAME GEEZ

She then called me a bunch a not-for-the-family names, and there was another guy there who was doing NOTHING.

Guy: WE ARE IN LAVENDER TOWN I AM NOT KIDDING (are you kidding me?)

And so it ended with me being so mad, I was trapping the girl so she wouldn't get out. Which ended in a disconnection. I was happy. I just knew Club Tortimer was the right place for me.

That was a fascinating story. The only story I had was two girls telling me they have a friend who is a guy, and that he needs a girlfriend. They told me his a/s/l, his friend code, and told me to bring 500,000 bells and left. I was weirded out, so I just left and never went back to the islands since. That was a very long time ago, probably back in the 2013's when the game came out. I was broke back then so, they wouldn't have gotten anything anyways.

One time this guy with a golden rose in his mouth came to me asking for money, and I told him I didn't have any, and then he for some reason gave me his rose, then left.

Another time this guy was talking to me, and he seemed really cool at first, then he was like "Listen, I'm in love with your beauty." And I was like lol wat and left.

I've met some weird people on Club Tortimer. I usually just go to look at items then leave. But when I do stay, it's never good at all.

Aight so this happened a while ago and there was this girl (if I remember correctly, I think her name was Hannah) and she was nice and we played some of the island games together (I can't remember exactly what they're called) and afterwards she bought me the ukulele so it was a positive experience


But still, I've never gone back to club tortimer since because I always get so uncomfortable

They were 3 people there already but 2 of them
We're telling a story
And just for me being there they were telling me to get out but not to disconnect becaused they were talking something "private"

The other person was lost running around the island
I just finish going to a minigame becaused they were making no sense at all and try to threaten me
But they were stupid

I was held ransom on the island just yesterday. It was pretty funny. I wasn't held by myself, but with the company of 2 other girls. The culprit was also female, which was pretty funny. The girls kept fighting for over an hour while I just watched. I eventually DC'd it because the ransom price was rather high(4,000,000 bells). It's kind of sad that people do that...

Yeah, its really sad when people do that. One time someone trapped me and said they wanted "10000000" bells. I gave them 1k.

It was worth losing the medals I got.

Yeah I know I should've done that, but I was so mad I didn't even think before I did what did.

One time not too long ago, I got onto an island with 3 people; Two girls and a guy. The girls were chill, the guy was off. VERY off. He afked for long periods of time, just to come back and scare beetles away. We somehow got into the topic of crossdressing and he felt the need to open his big mouth and spew about how he HATES crossdressers and wish they didn't exist. At this point we were like "Wtf.." He stayed quiet for a while before doing a countdown. We all knew what this meant and we said our goodbyes before he errored us.

Immediately I went back and lucky enough, I was on an Island with one of the same girls from before! We talked for a bit before another girl joined. She was strange. She constantly asked us for bells and when we told her every time we don't have any to give, she got very upset. The other girl and I noticed that this girl had the same town name as the guy who was there before.. Yep. This guy switched characters just to mess with people again and beg for bells. We IMMEDIATELY called him out and he kept denying it. He slowly got more and more hostile before just losing his mind and spewing curse words all over the place. He disconnected us soon after.

I did have a good experience though, with a girl creating a maze with tree stumps and putting bags of bells in it. The only downside to this is that I got barely any because someone cheated and just went through and grabbed almost all the bags. The girl who made the maze was cool enough to just bury some bells for me once the other girl left, though.

I've only been there once, and some weird girl wanted to trade stuff. She wanted my blue ribbon, but then she didn't like it and gave it back to me, so we traded shirts instead, which she kept. lol We played a tour, but she afk'ed and I had to all the work. After that, I was a bit upset at her and said bye and left. Not sure if I'll ever return. lol

The most annoying thing that happened was some girl wanted to go to my town and was asking for my friend code. I told her no and she trapped me on the island. I finally was like "okay fine give me your friend code" and while she was typing I got on the boat so fast and left that weirdo. Not that bad compared to some stories on here.

Another time I met a Japanese player that was trying to talk to me but because of the language barrier it was next to impossible. So I started typing random letters like this fjsdniufn09w4 and he kept replying with random letters too. Idk it was amusing to have a conversation with a foreign person like that.

The people that demand you give them your outfit but don't understand that it's a QR code are my least favorite.

the only experiences i've had at club tortimer are good ones tbh. i've met some really nice people there, we've even shared friend codes. i feel bad for you guys who have bad experiences ;-;

I've never been on Club Tortimer because I just know I'll have a near anxiety attack but these stories make me wanna do it just so I can have my own. Sure they seem annoying at the time but aren't they just fun in the end? Lol.

I need to get obsessed with AC again, maybe I will and I'll report back if anything like this happens.

I became friends with someone from CT who then became my stalker. They added me as a best friend so I did the same thinking nothing of it, and then every single time I would get on to play..not even two seconds after my game loaded I would get messages from them saying "OPEN YOUR GATES!" "I WANNA COME OVER!" "I KNOW YOU'RE PLAYING!" I ended up just deleting that person. I mean seriously...who does that? I would have been more inclined to open my gates had they asked nicely, instead of demanding it.

I've actually got 3 short(ish) stories that kind of connect.
A day a while ago, I was on the island with 3 actually nice people, but I talked to one of them more.
I gave them a pitfall (because their name was Pit XD) and then the one of the others eventually had to go.
After they left, another person came on, and after a while she was kind of hinting for money. I was feeling generous so I said "Sure, if you can catch a horned hercules."


Afterwards, she did, so I gave her some money. I gave some to my friend and the other person too, and they were super grateful. But the other girl (I'll call her Amy) stole it. But she said sorry and gave it back.
Afterwards she asked for more, so the person who I gave a pitfall to told her to be grateful. Amy then said that they should be because they were asking for money (although they never did) And I said that, but eventually Amy left and when the other person (Pit) had to too a while after. I gave them a box of chocolates, they thanked me and left.

And then 3 others came, but one kept asking for my 'wig', which was a QR, and we continued to tell them that, but they didn't know what it was and told me to drop the wig.
And a while after the server disconnected.


A few days later, I was on the Island with a girl and a guy in a Link costume, so we'll call him that,and she asked for our QR codes, so we made some up, like 6666-6666-6666 and 147-???-???, so then she said "no tell me real" and I said no, so she said error, and you guessed it, we disconnected. Afterwards, I met the other person again (Pit was their name) but I was also with the girl again, so eventually she said 'error' and we disconnected again. :/
Lots of nice things also happened, but I think I'll end it here.
Seriously though, there's few people with good grammar on the island.

Don't judge people by their TPCs!
That's the only reason I don't want to go to CT on my 2nd copy, because I reset it frequently.
Anyway, it's NOT stupid to chop the middle trees, you get more bugs (as you probably know) and you could've know how to play even if you WERE new because you could've played all the other games and been a big fan.
