Sorry, I just had a quick question about this. Is it possible to redeem Club Nintendo Wii game rewards onto the Wii U virtual Wii? I heard it's an exact copy of the Wii so I figured it might be able to play Wii games via virtual download.
I believe so. If you go to the information page of a certain Wii VC game download it should say:
This game can be downloaded* from the Virtual Console™ section of the Wii Shop Channel on the Wii console or on Wii Mode on your Wii U console. Until June 30, 2015, Club Nintendo members may redeem Club Nintendo Coins for a download code. Subject to availability.
It might also have a Wii U logo on the left hand side.
