Yes, Bells are the same as TBT. Usually you transfer the TBT once the trade has been completed. To transfer, click on the number of Bells that I have under my name, "transfer" and you can input how many bells (in this case 1), plus a "note" if you want to have a record for yourself (usually just the name of what you're trading, in this case "White Festive Tree")
