Clothing styles influencing animals on islands?

Has anyone else tried wearing particular types of clothing when they go on mystery tours for animals?? I was looking for Raymond for a friend, and apparently his style/colour preferences are Elegant/Cool + black/gray (according to this)so I wanted to see if the clothing thing would influence anything and this is what I got :0 I'm not rich in NMT so this is all I could do lol

also tried for Dom (active/cute + red/colourful) and Kid Cat (active/simple + red/red) and found these two with this beautifully coordinated outfit:

Marina - cute/cute pink/red
Olivia - cool/elegant white/black


Does anyone know how to tell what style a particular type of clothing is (e.g. rock n roll, chic, flashy, cute etc)

I'm trying to get specific villagers through islands by trying to wear what they like based off their preferences (according to this) but I'm not sure what clothing style is what ;v; I'm doing wild guesses at the moment

idk!! I definitely saw a pattern with the clothes I wore based on the animals' preferences ;v;

Though, I will be honest... this is something Nintendo would definitely do, but I have my doubts they did it this time around.
