Actually, yeah, his items ARE hacked.

1) November and December have no Japanese holidays what so ever... December has European Holidays, but not Japanese. So Time Travelling was at use.

2) Even his Paper Hats are hacked, because even Animal Crossing came out in Japan after the North American release, and the holiday that you can get the Paper Hats from, Boy's Day, is in May 5th. The only way this could have happened is if his Japanese friend TIME TRAVELLED (which is really cheating), went back to normal time, and gave the Japanese stuff to amped.
