Oh yes, of course sorry.
The knighting ceremony is something like this:

Mor ore less the monarch places the flat edge of the sword (or in this case an umbrella) on the shoulders of the kneeling soon to be knight.
You can forget the part about sitting on the throne, by the way, standing's fine.
Let me know if it's too much, or if it's fine but you'd like me to add more bells.
