L+R while playing works fine, but the quality is ugh. Miiverse quality is slightly better, so if you've got the time for it, exit your game wherever you wanna screenshot, go on Miiverse and upload. You can also take pictures of the bottom screen this way, and you can more easily access the photos on your computer.
I know how to take pics in the game, actually.
So if I went to Miiverse on my phone, and saved the pic, I'd be able to post it? Sorry if I sound stupid.
You don't sound stupid! Yes, as far as I know, that is the only way to upload acnl pics to tbt from a phone.
240p is going to be like that regardless
true, i've just found that miiverse looks nicer to boot.

Yeah. That's a downside of Mii verse. 
miiverse screenshots are .png, as compared to LR's .jpgs so theyre automatically better. i think somebody said that miiverse screens are truer colors than LR. i dont post screenshots often, so ill use miiverse to do it.

You could also make an LR screenshot and then go to your browser (you don't need to close ACNL) go to your mail account (www.gmail.com for example) and then mail the picture to yourself. Then open the picture on your phone and post it. That's how I usually do it!
I haven't clicked on that link (EDIT: The link that was on Nunnafinga's post before) but based on the address, isn't that just a regular image host? I think what NewLeaf13 was asking was how to post game screenshots from their phone if they're in their 3DS SD card.
NewLeaf13, if MiiVerse isn't working, you can take the screenshots of your game as normal and use the 3DS browser to put them somewhere. You can use an image host. Photobucket is the one most of my friends have been using for years because it has so many privacy options. An easier idea to transfer them to your phone is to e-mail them to yourself (attach them to an e-mail) and save them on your phone. You can add images to the forum by hosting them elsewhere or just uploading them as an attachment to your post.
I think you can even post directly from your 3DS if you don't want to use your phone.
Do you have any computers you could use? If you do, you can just use the SD card on it directly. If it doesn't include a card reader, you can buy one for pretty cheap almost anywhere.
I didn't know that Miiverse makes better pictures but it seems like such a hassle. I take a lot of pictures in my game since I like to keep a log to myself of what I did on each day so it would be so much work. I might look into it since I want to empty my mailboxes soon and it seems easier to use it instead of taking pictures of the letters.
Does Miiverse have any privacy options or are your game pictures immediately visible to everyone? There's nothing wrong with my game but most of the pictures I take are just for record-keeping and are pretty silly.

if you want to post a lot of screens via miiverse, you're going to have a bad time. miiverse pics are posted to the community I think. idk if theres a private option.

No. I meant the link that was on Nunnafinga's post before they edited it. I was typing my post when Eline posted so I'll edit my own post to make more sense, but there's no need to be rude instead of looking at posting times or assuming there's a simpler explanation than someone not knowing what gmail is. Thanks for explaining that about miiverse, though. I'm not really interested in the community aspect of it, so I guess I'll pass up on it for now.
