Niko is adorable. If he were a regular villager instead of an NPC, I bet he would be EXTREMELY popular. People are obsessing over Shino right now (I am one of those), but I bet Niko would be even more popular than her.

Niko joins the cult of adorable modeled NPCS that we will likely never get as villagers alongside Cyrus, Celeste, and Flick.

I was expecting Digby since him and Lottie are close and was kind of disappointed he didn't show up since I thought he was a cutie just like Isabelle. But Niko is a blessing. I could easily drop the other dude for Digby though.

I am here and ready to join this church and he's in the site banner now! I love it. I don't even care about Lottie or that other guy, Niko is all that we need. To those who wish he was a villager I gotta say he does remind me of Deli who is very under-appreciated. Monkey's in general need more love and so I'm pretty thrilled we are getting a cool new monkey character.

Niko is actually a sifaka lemur. ; v; Everyone calls him a monkey, but he's a lemur, haha.
They ARE primates, but not the same thing.

That said, I'm so tempted to live on my vacation home just to see him lmao. :v
( speaking of, does anyone else find it funny people need a vacation away from their island home to even smaller islands?? Hm. )

i didn’t fully appreciate him during the direct as i was too overwhelmed by all of the amazingness lol, but niko is absolutely adorable! i’m looking forward to seeing the lil guy in-game.
