Christmas Or Halloween?

Christmas Or Halloween

I prefer Halloween. My birthday is the day after Halloween so I've always felt an affinity for the holiday. I used to have Halloween themed birthday parties and such. I love costumes and candy. Plus, Halloween is just all about fun. There are no obligations.

I like Christmas too, but it can be a very stressful time of year for me. Finding time to buy and wrap gifts for everyone when it's also usually a very busy time at work so it's hard for me to get time off. In fact, I'm usually working a lot more overtime leading up to Christmas and that's been true across multiple jobs from retail to customer service to business analyst (we have shut down times for getting projects and code implemented before year end so there's always a huge push at the end of the year). Then, I only get two days off work for the Christmas holiday but I've got multiple family gatherings to attend and out of state family that I want to see. So, as much as I want to love Christmas, I'm usually just glad when it's all over.

I like both but Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. My birthday is in October so as a kid I always thought of Halloween as part of "my special month". Plus I've always been drawn to creepy, scary, & dark themes movies & literature. I've also always loved the decorations and the crisp Autumn feel of Halloween.

In theory, halloween is far more appealing to me- I like scary movies, dressing up as a monster, eating candy, and the fall vibes.

But in actuality I'm a softie, and I'm lazy. I never really dress up for halloween, I mainly only go out to like 1 party and watch halloween movies sometimes after I'm done homework. Too stressful. I like Christmas more because I get to go home and be with my family, and there are so many better traditions. I'm also on at least a month break, and not being stressed is super important to me

Christmas movies, music, food, and SNOW get me in the heart, especially now that I'm older and can appreciate meaningful experiences more :]

(And presents)

Halloween, but only because Christmas is in the winter and I usually get depressed or something bad happens during the winter.

Thanksgiving. Lots of good food is better than candy and presents honestly.

Christmas. I just love walking into the stores, looking at all the items they have on the shelves, hearing those holiday tunes over the speaker... It's just lovely.

Also, I don't really do anything much for Halloween.

Christmas, 'cause random children don't come to my house asking for presents.

Christmas because it's summer, it's beach season and all the awesome Christmas traditions upheld by my family :D

For the spirit, themes, and decorations - Christmas.
For the movies and tv specials - Christmas.
For the candy - Christmas.
For the customs - Christmas.
For the season a holiday is part of - Christmas (my birthday is in the winter too, but that’s in February).

Halloween is cool and all but I just love how magical and happy Christmas feels. :) I'm so happy I get to have that feeling all month long!

I love the aesthetic of Halloween but prefer the atmosphere of Christmas. I grew-up in an anti-Halloween household so nothing ever happened. So of course the first year I had my own house I had to throw a Halloween party!

This year I'm combining the two. I'm planning to invest in a black Christmas tree after payday and I already have creepy decorations for it.
:D

Halloween time is nice but I love christmas :) the holidays make me feel really happy

Christmas. Halloween is not really that much of a thing here as in US for example. Plus it's basically "buy spoopy things" here anyway like.. no. Yes Christmas is basically that too but at least it's holiday and while I'm not a fan of family gatherings at least I can get away from the bad ones lol.

Christmas, 'cause random children don't come to my house asking for presents.

Exactly.. Kids are only annoying here so yep

Christmas definitely!
I don't really celebrate halloween, I like the funny halloween memes but I'm not into scary things so meh.
However, I enjoy Christmas a lot! I love Christmas spirits, with the decorations in the streets and I love it even more if it's snowing!
I also like the family reunion and, of course, the gifts!

Christmas for sure. I don't really do anything to celebrate Halloween anymore, and while it's fun spooky was never really my thing. But Christmas gets me super excited and festive. I love hearing Christmas songs everywhere, singing Christmas songs myself in choir, seeing decorations everywhere, eating and drinking holiday treats, everyone being a bit nicer....it's just a really beautiful time of year to me. Christmas is also the only day of the year when I won't complain about snow :p

I love Christmas because it's always a nice time being able to spend time with family and give presents to people, but Halloween is my favorite holiday so definitely that. I love the aesthetic and getting the opportunity to dress up in costume/cosplay is always a fun time :D

It?s a difficult choice but I have to choose Christmas because tbh I absolutely love Christmas music
