Literally! She's almost on top of my train station, partially blocking my town bulletin! I love her so far, but I don't know what to do about that awful plot... ;_; I haven't been playing AC too long so I don't know anything about plot resetting and stuff like that -- although I guess it's too late since she's already moved in. Sigh.

Ah I feel for you. :'( I've had that happen with soooo many of my fav villagers. But I'm not sure how to plot reset, sorry!

Villagers can move in THAT close? I know they can be fairly close, but.. THAT close?

Aw OnO If it really bothers you, you can try the 16-villager-method thingy to move her out and then back in. Maybe the placement can work if you plant some flowers/bushes/trees around it

If she's already moved in, you'll have to do the 16 villager cycle. I'm so sorry. >_< In my old town, Maple moved right in front of my campsite. I was so mad.

In my current town, Poppy moved pretty close to Retail. She's kind of far enough away that it's not too too bad, knock on wood.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do! <3

What a shame! :( If you can't deal with her terrible spot but love her a lot then maybe doing the 16-villager cycle for her would be worthwhile like the poster above suggested.

Plot resetting only works if you have 3 or less human characters in your town.

On the day when you know for sure that you will get a new plot, instead of loading onto one of your human characters, you want to create a new save file. (Campsite villagers will move in 2 days after they agree, adoptions from another town will move in the next day but very rarely in 2 days)

Once you've created your new save file run around town to look for the new plot

If you like the placement, then talk to Isabelle at the town hall, set up your house with Nook, talk to Isabelle again then save and quit. Load onto that character again and demolish their home. The new plot will now be saved!

If you don't like the placement, just close the Animal Crossing app without saving and repeat the process.

You may notice 'patterns' when you plot reset (i.e. the plot keeps appearing in the same general area only moving a few spaces each reset), you can break this pattern by completely powering off your DS and turning it back on
^This personally works for me, but note that a lot of other people claim that this does not work for them

Good luck!

awy i totally understand the feel! >:c unfortunately u gotta take everyone else's advice & do the villager cycle if it bothers u :c
try to learn the ways around plot resetting, as it makes it substantially easier when getting dreamies! wish u luck hun !

How do I do the 16 villager cycle?
I already have 4 characters full of hoarded items so I guess I wouldn't have been able to plot reset anyway ><
I'll just to post up a picture of just how close she is to the train station.. it's seriously absurd!!

Marshal was my very first move in and he moved in mostly the same spot, but it didn't bother me too much because I was new to the game and was just happy to have a villager named Marshal since I am obsessed with Eminem (the rapper) and decided I loved Marshal before I even met him!

I hope that you can make the bad plot work >.> but that was really really close to the bulletin board...

Aw I'm sorry that happened to you! Actually, I think Bunnie was in that same spot in my main town right now. I've made it look pretty nice actually, I can post a pic so maybe you can work around it somehow? c:

Aw that isn't the best! But look at it this way? If you can make it suit your town and look the best, others will notice and it will be even better then you can imagine! It just takes a little more effort to make it work! But others will notice how good it can look!

Wow.. thats rough. But I'm sure you can make the best of it. I hope you can get inspiration to make it better. I'm sure you can do it!
