Do you put up a fake tree, or do you get a live?

Every year, we use our fake one, but this year, my Stepmom (She's never had christmas with us, by the way) wants to get a real christmas tree.

Pshh real all the way. I had a fake tree one year when we spent christmas at my grandma's. Even though fake trees are easier and less messy I still like real better because it seems more festive or something.

Since there is an evergreen grove near our house, we usually buy a real one.
Here in the northern U.S. we can take care of a tree nicely X]

Real trees are the best! They have that Christmas-y pine-y fresh smell! Sadly, since we are going out of state this year, we got a dumb fake one...
