Chief's creepy walk!

as I was inviting someone over to my town I went to check on my villagers and Chief was outside in the snow walking and running as if he's either skiing or walking on ice it's creepy! I wanted to record it but he suddenly started to walk fine again after crossing the bridge...

did this kind of thing happen to any of you??
and no, the game wasn't lagging or anything...

Hmm that sounds weird, but I wouldn't put it past Chief aha. I had a similar sounding sort of thing with Julian.. I cant remember whether it was him going into the sad action or not, but he walked past and did this weird glide motion (either going in or out of being sad). So no answer to your query, just sounds similar aha.
