I know that Cedar trees will only grow in the Northern part or half of your town. What I'm wondering is does anyone know exactly where that boundary ends? Like how many squares South of the train tracks?

Just in in case no one knows (which is probably the case), then how many squares south is your furthest successful Cedar tree? I'd just rather not waste Cedar saplings to find out as I'll only be able to buy one maximum a day and I'm starting completely fresh with my trees as I had help cutting them all down today.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! ^.^

I think that, for most people, you can't plant cedar trees below where the river divides your town. For me, my furthest successful cedar tree is 3 squares below the river. Any more than that, my cedar trees die.

I'd say it's the area in the first two rows of acres (an acre is 16x16) from the top that cedars can grow. The point at which cedar stop growing in my main town, one section is below my river while the other section is above my river because my river is shaped oddly. In my second town, for the most part the point at which cedars don't grow are are 3 squares above my river.
