I have a hard time with the greetings, as they seem to get random punctuation added to them, which varies from villager to villager.

I made Katt say 'Meow's it going?' which works perfectly, but then I gave Fauna 'Oh, dear!' and she added an extra exclamation mark, making it look clunky - 'Oh, dear!!'

I wish it was at least consistent.

i did the same thing! i always forget that they'll add an exclamation point every single time.... but then when they repeat it back to me i never seem to realize it then until its too late. RIP

They haven't yet asked to give them a greeting.

aww, you'll get there soon david! i heard that giving them clothes fit to their style (i use the "villager gifts" tab on this website!) and items over 5k bells helps raise their friendship, therefore leading them to ask you for a super secret friend greeting. i hope you get there soon!

I feel like some of mine don't, which is where I got caught out. Maybe I'm getting confused?

I haven't set any villager catchphrases or greetings yet, but my villagers are pretty 50/50 right now on calling me lollipop (Chevre) and tater tot (Sherb). I prefer the later much more but don't tell Chevre! Both nicknames are really cute.

Static calls me 'peanut' which is mildly amusing! Both Graham and Raddle call me 'friendo' which is also adorable haha

Dizzy’s catchphrase is “Yummy”, and I’m planning on making Broccolo’s “Snack Attack!” hoping it fits. Deirdre’s is “y’know”!

I’ve also gotten Molly to start calling me “Chickie” so I hope it catches on

While I was playing with a dear friend of mine, I found out that having "Meanie" as a title translates into "Demonio" in Spanish AC. I play the game in English because I like the names better, but my friend doesn't know English very well. Anyway, this made us laugh more than it should and just then Flora asked me for a new nickname, now everyone in Fódlandy refers to Noelia as "Demon".

I've not had anyone talk to me about changing their greeting or catchphrase yet, but I have two different nicknames so far which were both given to me by my villagers. Pompom calls me 'sweetkins', while Stu started to call me 'wonder bud' the other day. I thought both were too cute to not keep!

I don't get the greetings. I gave Billy one and whenever he says it there's no punctuation, so I thought "ok, noted, greetings need punctuation." Next person to ask, Miranda, I put a period on the end. Now when she says it it ends with 2 periods. So I thought "ok, maybe just a weird thing with Billy?" So then when Plucky asked for one I left off the period and... She says it un-punctuated. Whyyyyyy

My villagers all call me superstar, but getting bored of this now. I miss my NL nickname given to me by marshal which was genius. I hope I get a new one soon! I've given my villagers a lot of catch phrases such as: dattebayo, bubble but (idk), I think? (makes them sound so unsure of everything lol), swalalalla and baka. The greetings I gave where hola! and I love you! If I ever get Ankha I'm planning to give her "mortal" as a catchphrase xD

my villagers' catchphrases are pretty much all "uwu" oops
also! my villagers have been calling me "burrito" which is :c but marshal just asked to call me "chef" and i was like "YESyeYSYEESYYEYES" and now some villagers have been saying "yes, chef!" to me it's so cute ;;

kid cat’s greeting is now “h-hewwo??” and i stand by that lmao
