Flipside is the new-found island home of Em, a now retired mayor. The island's name comes from the informal English word, meaning another aspect or version of something. In these somewhat scary and strange times, the island has become the actual flipside of Em's life. The island is great, but it's still a work-in-progress.
Em is Flipside's Resident Representative. Flipside is her retirement home, in a sense. Once the mayor of her old town, Em has discovered a new-found peace among the palms of this deserted island. Now free of the burdens and stresses of running an entire town, she spends her most of her free time tending to the flora of Flipside, and enjoying early morning tea/coffee chats with her lovely new island neighbors. Morning sunrises on Flipside are her favorite feature of island life.
Sometimes villagers are just passing through, enjoyin the island life, but not for long.
This is where we celebrate the great dudes and dudettes that one called Flipside their home.
This is not even an island update - this is my first Clay Appreciation post. Most likely the first of many because he's such a freaking cutiepie. I invited him to live on Flipside via the campsite and I wasn't super sure about him at first and oh my goodness, I am in love. Best decision ever was to gift him the handmade cape and crown. I will stop blabbering and now show you my best child.
