Catch phrases

Because I am watching NCIS right now, the catchphrases that I am teaching them are "whatya got" and "boss." The greeting I am teaching them is "Grab your gear." I will probably go with "Gear up" when they start over

Definitely snagging some of these. I really like yolo, swag, lol omg, rofl omg, captain, forever, twerk, etc.. So funny. ^^

Beardo's catchphrase is 'yoloswag' and his greeting is 'gotta go fast'
Another villagers catchphrase is 'ratchet'

But those are the ones I dislike. None of my favorite villagers have asked me for a change ahh

I just make them use boss or dude - can't ever come up with anything better.

I usually go with stuff like "Derp " "Indeed" "Quite. " "Wut" "Fffffuuu"

I put a lot of random garbage in. ^^;
I've used "banana", "cupcake", "iris", "dudebro", or sometimes I just type whatever kind of animal they are.
The greetings though...that's where I have the most fun. Curlos happens to like Gangnam Style a lot, so he says "Curlos style!" as a greeting. The jocks typically get sound effects, "BOOM!" "SHHHHZING!" Lol.

Harry, who kept asking to buy my fish, got "reel cool", and I guess that was popular, because three other villagers started saying it too.

Rolf now says 'Wotcha!' and Sally says 'Shazam!' None of the others have aksed to change yet.

Someone said in a thread to use "Omg Rofl" and I did and now a lot of my villagers say it and I laugh every time.

I made Lolly say "candypants" just because she kept asking me to change it and I just... idk haha.

But I made Pinky say "darling" and she's long since replaced that. But she managed to get Shep to say "darling" so now he just calls me "darling" after every sentence. Dx

OMG! I made Olaf say the exact same thing! He hasn't replaced it yet or given it to anyone else yet, though.

I taught Ed how to say, "Fo shizzle." I still laugh occasionally when he says that.

I usually just use normal ones but lately I've been mixing it up a bit...some recent ones I've used are krumpdump, spitsquash, lumplip, and buttmuncher (don't know how that got past the censor tbh)

I just think of something random really, I made Cookie say "bananas" and Roald at one point changed his catchphrase to someone else's, but I liked his original one ("b-b-buddy") so I changed it back when he asked me again.

I got one of my villagers to start calling me "ninja" and now about 3 others have started calling me that too!

I always make it something not child appropriate, I feel bad every time one of my villagers move to someone else's town lol

Hahahaha! That's great. Back in CF I would always make them say things like "idiot", so they'd come up to me and be like "hey idiot, how are ya?" and then I'd have an excuse to brutally attack them with the net. ^_^


Tank just came up to me and said [copied right from the dialogue, which I still have open]: "Haiyaaaaaaaa! How goes 'er, dozer, flarrrrrk? I'm doing great!"

For snooty villagers I always give them tsundere lines. Unfortunately for me, only Ankha has asked to have her catch phrase changed. >: No one else! So Ankha says "b-baka!"

I taught Deli "stinker," which caught on. Ricky's is "nutbag." Flurry refers to everything as "smokin'."

As for greetings, Static greets everyone with "Gimme your shoes." Ricky's greeting is "Grab my junk." Flurry says hello with a simple "'Sup dawg?" Phil has a happy "Yoo hoo, sugar." Wendy's is "Sweetie, darling!"
