Do wetsuits or villager pictures count towards percent catalog completion? I have enough of the other items to get the gold catalog badge but Phineas hasn't shown up with it yet. I've only had 2 wetsuits and probably 20 pictures.

No I don't think so, if you go to the catalog and type that stuff jn it doesn't show up!

i feel like the wetsuit do counts
but not sure
but villager pictures they dont
and thank good but it 333 villager plus specials guest (though i have them all jejeje)

I wonder if the DLC counts toward the catalog completion? They're in the MoriDB or animal crossing data base. Plus I know holiday related items count in the database. So, perhaps you should make a catalog thing on MoriDB and go through everything one by one and crosscheck it with your game's database and keep track of the differences between the two to see what you're missing. If you aren't missing anything, then perhaps it's simply a matter of he shows up on certain days and you need to find him in your town.

I have already done that with everything that shows up in the catalog machine and I've obtained the majority of the DLC already. The wetsuits and pictures do not show up in the machine. Thanks for the suggestion though. Also when I can't find Phineas I ask my police dog what's new to find out if he's there. Usually he's just not there.

My extra players got the gold catalog badge with no wetsuits and villagers pictures.
The mayor received her gold cataloging badge before all the Japan items were release in NA.

She collected all the gyroids, buyable letters and songs. The Bunny Days Series gave her the gold badge. It's more than 80%.
I used moridb for all 11 players and got the gold badge.

Since technically you are supposed to get the gold badge at 80 percent complete, I'm guessing it's just a problem with timing or something if you've already checked to make sure you have everything.

Okay. Thanks. Hopefully I'll get it soon. It was clear out yesterday but rainy today.

There is this spreadsheet I used to help me. It uses Google Docs and calculates the percentage for you. Would you like me to share it with you? I'll go looking for the original now regardless.

When did you last get your items? Sometimes Phineas just takes a while to show up. He took a long time to show up for me once I had completed the encyclopedia. For the 80% Catalog he showed up right away but only because I completed it in the morning of a sunny day.

I use it too! It is GODLY!! I use it for my fish, bugs and diving creatures but I will use it for catalogs too eventually.

It takes a bit longer, but what I do is go through and just mark everything as soon as I receive/buy it. That way I don't waste bells on stuff I already have, or time going through the catalogues over and over again for a handful of changes. It makes my OCD heart happy.
