Cat Town or Rabbit Town?

Gahhh i can't decide whether to do a cat town or a rabbit town!

While the rabbits have all the personalities, I was planning on using Shep as the smug for the cat town
I'm so indecisive, i've been going back and forth with these two species for awhile now
Help!

Would you be settling on any villagers you don't like if you were to choose either? I'd choose rabbits personally because like you said, there's one for every personality.

I'd choose cats, but then that would be me being biased because I love cats more than anything. I do like Maruchan's idea though. I think that would be easier when it comes to personalities. Good luck on choosing one!

I personally like rabbits more, but cat town might be easier because i think there are more cats. (of course, might be wrong on that). Either would be cool. Oh, throwing one more consideration out there, i dont know if this will sway you... I have seen a few cat towns, but i dont ever remember seeing a rabbit town. I think an all rabbit town might be less common.

rabbits! I think they're more diverse personality wise (plus I'm super biased bc my favorite villager ever is a rabbit), but the cats are so cute!

(I had every personality except Uchi, but I'd gotten all the Uchi pwps beforehand)

I vote for rabbits! I've seen tons of all-cat towns, and that doesn't feel very original. But I don't think I've seen a rabbit town before! Plus they're cute c:

yeah ive seen a couple of cat towns as well... one of the pros to a cat town is i can play the "soft kitty" song as my town tune from big bang theory ahahaha (that might be one of the main reasons why i want a cat town)

It's probably easier(and a lot cheaper)to do a rabbit town.A lot of the cats are tier one and two and a tad pricey.The cats are among my favorite villagers in the game but I think an all rabbit town might be more interesting.

If you like them both, I'd second the vote for mixing them half and half. One problem that breaks hearts is when you lose someone from these towns. Even though there are way more than 10 each of rabbits and cats, you'll have a much easier time finding someone to keep you company after a heartbreak this way - or even cycling through while keeping the theme going. You could have a lot of fun plot resetting them into their own neighborhoods with different themes or pairing them up as neighbors.

And Hidden Owl? You'd be dropping my two favorite penguins
