Can't visit anyone and can't host either

Does anyone know what's the minimum mbps this game runs on because I have really, reallyyyyyy slow Internet (5 mbps at best) and it won't let me do online play with any of my friends. Always get a connection error when I try.

I feel kinda bummed out tbh... Like I want to be able to play online with all my friends and people on this forum and it's not letting me.
